We have similar flights (MEL <==> LAX in PE) coming up later this year and I had chosen row 10 each way on the basis they were bulk head seats with no seat in front to recline back into us :) I don't understand the comment about the lack of legroom in row10 - surely this is more than offset by...

Well I might only be a lowly SG I am still yet to feel the upgrade love....

Must say the key for me is changing seats at the airport...if I take my allocated seat ~1-2 days later the points & SC post. If I take the (often offered) better seat I have to lodge a claim, send BP's via email and then wait 8 weeks+ to see the points & SC. Choices :) G

I had a call last week (5+ weeks after change of status) to say I should not expect my new tags/card for at least four more weeks....yay. :mad:

If thats the worst that happens I will be lucky - I am still waiting approx seven weeks for a batch of (work paid for) Jetflex tickets to credit :)

Hi winchester, Appreciate the suggestion but I lodged an online claim several days after the flights, I have called the called centre three times, emailed twice with copies of the boarding passes .... to no avail :( Such is life. Cheers G
