Different Treatment as an Upgrade Customer

As the meal orders on the 330 are taken at the same time the meals are split between the 2 crew serving the cabin. Im guessing what has happened is that your crew member had run out of their allotment of the requested meal and was waiting for the other side to finish having their orders taken...

Sydney Lounge feedback wanted regarding meeting rooms and kids area

Some people are never happy. Moan when VA leave the boards. Then moan when they've returned and are trying to involve AFF feedback/input into future lounge projects. Guess they should just stop everything happening till Sabre is running smoothly. The way I see it is they were after...

Please bring back the Taster for Gold Members

But why should the passenger who has paid $800 be disadvantaged after purchasing a fare that is designed for flexibility so that a passenger who has paid a $200+30 can sit up front. I don't think you will see paid upgrades come back.... What incentive is there for passengers to pay J fares if...

The night you want a cranky QF Flight Attendant!

I will agree with you that a cranky/experienced flight attendant probably would have handled it better. That said from what I've seen the JQ / DJ crews have been a bit more willing to cut the booze off than the QF crews in my experience - usually too quickly and not flexible at all 'one drink...

    Now You're Flying Virgin Australia

As other members have said the change of titles on the side of the DJ aircraft operating PacBlu flights happened well before anything to do with VirginAustralia was launched. The reason for the change of titles is because DJ not PacBlu have the rights to fly to Indonesia from Australia and the...

Virgin Australia just does not feel 'Special' anymore

Its all about the ties scarfs and badges. Over the last few days the ground crew have swapped over to the new uniform... there should be no more taupe/brown (hasnt been onboard since the new uniform was launched) The CS scarf is slightly different to the rest of the crew. It has a barely...

Was chatting to some crew the other day. From what I understand seats are being refitted so they are able to recline. Too many complaints it seems.

JQ reduces seat pitch on A320's & locks all seats upright

The reason some people are finding the seats tighter and others arent noticing it is probably because with the old config (177) seats aft of the overwing exits on the aircrafts left had an extra inch (?) of room. They have fixed that now and afaik all seats now have the same pitch.

JQ reduces seat pitch on A320's & locks all seats upright

Jetstar has been operating with the dispensation of 1:50 for approx two years now. They only recently applied and were successful in having the dispensation applied to the A321. The 321 goes out with five crew now. The CSM operates the two front doors in an emergency - passengers in row one get...
