This is probably the cheapest you will get *class Gold Coast to Osaka. We travel there every year in Nov. Our business doesn't allow us to travel May / June. Also it's starting to get quite humid then. We got *class today on special in Nov. for $899, normally $1,250.00

It's only a rip off if you pay for it. Just don't pay it and you won't be 'ripped off'. Obviously some people are paying for it, each to their own. I'ts the same in any business, if you relise that you have a product that people will gladly pay for, of course you will offer it.

I know that the Japanese Govt. outlawed it for all flights leaving Japan.

Totally agree with the above. Just flew back from Osaka to Gold Coast yesterday and we had seats 1E/1F. No complaints whatsoever, and would request these seats again.

They called me here in Osaka about halfway though my stay and offered upgrade to J for A$249.00. We grabbed it, along with getting a promo fare for J on the way over it was a good deal. Not sure about the QF status.

I must say that I totally agree. So many places from need to pull their socks up in this country as far as customer service is concerned. To some business' you're just an inconvenience.
