    Jetstar Club verdict

J sales are rare. I don't see them being enough of an impulse buy that there is an urgency to buy them on day 1 of a sale. I don't see Club Jetstar as being beneficial if you just want J seats. Then again, if you have the budget for J seats then a $60 membership fee is immaterial.

Article: Have Australians Stopped Flying to the USA? Here’s What the Data Says…

Didn't Qantas just a few weeks ago put LA on sale for $999? I remember thinking why it was cheaper than Tokyo. Anyway that says it all really.

    Jetstar Club verdict

Only club members have access to the first day of major sales. The best flight dates sell out during this presale period. So if you are able and happy to book seats literally as soon as you see the sale, then being a club member is a must in order to secure the best dates. Having said that...

    Jetstar announces MCY-DPS-SIN

Yeah I don't know why AirAsia is not able to compete against Jetstar's 4x daily MEL-DPS. There is obviously a market there.

Qantas Economy Plus Launching Feb 2026

Once Qantas releases what will no doubt be a high price premium for Y+ and social media starts publishing "How I booked Y+ for FREE!" I think a lot of SGs will put up with middle seats.

Qantas Economy Plus Launching Feb 2026

If its free for SG and above then presumably these rows will always be full and shadows will be rare to non existent. I assume that most SG and above will pick these rows, even middle seats, because they are free and perceived to be better.

What makes a good airport and what's your favourite?

    1. Affordable & convenient transport to get to it like a train 2. Budget accommodation options (which notably SIN doesn't have) 3. Compact size (I don't want to take a subway and walk 10 kms just to get to my gate)

    Qantas refund missing

I think that ANZ will just give to AFCA that letter that they gave you. AFCA will believe them and case will be closed. Meanwhile ANZ will have a permanent record of you complaining about them to AFCA. You'd probably want to know more about what the airline customer advocate will do with your...

Public Qantas Fares Not Honoured for Booking Changes

This has been happening in some form or another for as long as I can remember. At the end of the day you are a captive customer and they know there is nothing you can do about it. I hope your complaint gets you somewhere when everyone else has failed.
