Same aircraft flying QF 9 PER - LHR last night diverted to Frankfurt.

On one hand maybe somehow someone forgot to flush. On the other it could've been F, J or, Y - there's always someone who thinks their Sugar Honey Iced Tea doesn't stink. Either way, not a nice find for you KitKat.

Flight Stats is showing J/9 C/9 D/9 I/1 U/9 for a PER > SYD QF flight later this month. The Y cabin appears quite lightly sold. Fair enough it's upgrade season but do upgrades come out of the U bucket ? Never seen a 'U9' before. :confused:

Out of interest samh004, at what (estimated or actual) flight level on descent did you start getting a signal ? I've often wondered this myself.

That's awesome !!! Based on that amount of flying I can't imagine those stats would have been compiled anywhere other than on an aircraft or in a Lounge. Thanks for the insight Jobu. :cool:

From Flight Stats......JQ First, PER > SYD. Makes QF look a bit shabby. ;)

Good decision uzza. Don't rely on one form of payment. IMO this is absolutely the #1 golden rule of money management while travelling abroad.

That sounds like a big oversell of Y. Or maybe QF being very, very generous. Either way there would've been some happy campers on board.

Hi Doc. SG here. I guess that would've been a factor. Also, just realised my points balance crept over a 100k threshold a couple of days beforehand due to some non-BIS activity. Probably just pure coincidence that the Op-Up followed. Davo

QF582 PER > SYD, Sun 20/03 on a Red e-Deal (Q) fare. OLCI at T-5 produced the expected Y boarding pass. Re-checked at a kiosk at T-1 and a J BP popped out. :eek:...and very much appreciated.

Just tried something else. Selected a different seat within the available 'status zone' (rather than waiting for the clock to tick down too much further) and BINGO !, for some reason that triggered the forward rows to open up. (Just a shame the really forward rows didn't ;)).

Anyone else experienced quirks with T-80 recently ? I'm inside T-80 for a flight next Tuesday and the cabin hasn't 'opened up' like I would've expected by now.

Yep - guests are welcome again as renovations are basically done. Took a guest in on Sunday.
