Lots of salmon on my golden triangle flights of late but not complaining. Is it just me or have regular J dom flyers noticed an observable trend of increased personalisation and genuine effort to make the flying experience more enjoyable onboard?

Because they are decision makers in firms I have a business relationship with. Actually scrap my comment I can see it’s not going to be particularly fruitful asking in this forum.

Yes , theoretically but I’ve also seen just one and then refills have been a lot slower so would caveat. Hopefully they now have 2 dedicated J FAs and the rest of the crew supporting after the Y service. In row 1 there really isn’t much difference but may be quicker in row 2 and beyond.

There are usually 2 in the cabin from my experience. They have served in different variations but most recently one would do row 1, other serve row 2 simultaneously then who knows what goes on behind row 1

QF still seem to board group 1&2 together in some ports at some times but at least on recent golden triangles including today group 1 was called first. We all got there on time today which followed an engineering delay and a diversion

The ploughman plate has definitely gone through a few different variations over the last 18months. The latest version isn’t the greatest tbh. Preferred when they first brought it out The sausage roll on refreshment service was decent

No go on a Syd sin soon after new year (but that worked well as got great service in Y in a front row seat) but upgrade cleared on a sin Syd 24hrs out as a P1 requesting 5 days in advance.

Did QF operated by Finnair J recently and got the usual greetings but thought they had a nice touch at the end to ask if there was anything the Purser aka CSM wanted to feedback That would be a nice addition to QF to actually take down any service issues or recommendations.

I had my first Y international in a while this week and had great service on QF. Looked after well straight away with a little wine tasting from the very front of the plane done very discretely. Some of the best service I’ve had has been in Y which is exactly when you need it and appreciate it...

Chicken was so much better today than last week. They coated in something so had a little bit of crispness and felt much better quality. Definitely not Sichuan spicy level. No chilli this week but I added some Sriracha sauce and condiments.
