What is the latest transfer rate if I pay my ATO bill using sniip using my platinum amex? It says it is a “business rate”, so IDK if i get 1:1 or 2.25:1 points per $ spent.

Ok, that works for SQ, but there doesn’t seem to be an equivalent transfer tab for say UA or QR. Availability booking on the VA website is much more limited and more point expensive than using say AMEX xfr to QR directly.

Question. Since the VA redeem rates are much higher on QR than using the direct privilege club avios rates (119k points vs 35k) is there a way to transfer into VA from AMEX and then convert them to Privilege club Avios? I am trying to use some of my westpac altitude points to fly with QR but...

Do these point purchases apply if you are converting amex points to aeroplan?

You can add a co-traveller onto your account and can use your avios points for getting them a flight or upgrade. You can’t earn points via them flying with QR which is the major difference from the family membership. But if you are not married, then this works to get your partner access. 😁

Just asking a general question for privilege reward redemption. When you use the points required calculator you get 135000 points required for a J class Europe to Mel flight. When you try to redeem the flights, the avios points charge is 180000. Am I doing something wrong?
