No More International Lounge Access on Jetstar Flights (except QF codeshare/JQ business max)

Id think that's unusual (as are those flights, typically once a week only on some months a year). From what I can tell there are only a handful of SYD-MEL and vv before this change kicks in. Obviously a lot more regularly scheduled JQ flights. Also with the discontinuation of JQ Economy Max...

No More International Lounge Access on Jetstar Flights (except QF codeshare/JQ business max)

So if none of the Platinums here actually fly JQ, extrapolating then this seemingly won't have any impact on the First lounge. I would have thought a bigger impact at SYD will be the likely move of the medium haul narrow bodies (NZ, Pacific and possibly Indonesia on XLRs) to the proposed T2/T3...

No More International Lounge Access on Jetstar Flights (except QF codeshare/JQ business max)

I'd say Business. Much like flying a non-oneworld airline in J that has an agreement to use QF J lounge. You get what you get by that agreement.

Jetstar Boeing 787 refurbishment adding more Business Class seats

Haven't t put in a bid, but assume one would be able to change bids and much like the QF/VA systems there might be some form of email notification. Ill wait to see what comes of any points exchange ratio.

No More International Lounge Access on Jetstar Flights (except QF codeshare/JQ business max)

Might mean a few more pax able to buy Business Max, but equally means less Y seats for QF Club/ Gold+. So I doubt the refurb has much to do with it.

No More International Lounge Access on Jetstar Flights (except QF codeshare/JQ business max)

With separate terminals in SYD and MEL, limited hours in OOL, that benefit is only half there anyway. Don't think that ever provided lounge access. Only ever Business Max and the no longer sold Economy Max packages.

No More International Lounge Access on Jetstar Flights (except QF codeshare/JQ business max)

But it would have been very easy just to target the tag flights. Personally not happy with the short notice. I've got a JQi flight later in the year where at least part of my rationale to choose JQ over alternates was based on lounge access.

For SYD-ICN. Also have the return on same PNR (booked under recent return for free deal). You need to move both sliders, lock in using the orange bid button, then another Review and Pay takes you to a screen to enter cc details (MC/ Visa only)

Jetstar Boeing 787 refurbishment adding more Business Class seats

Interesting they highlight SGN in the example. SYD-SGN 2/wk and MEL-SGN 3/wk currently. And a link to the Jetstar website for the upgrades. https://www.jetstar.com/au/en/flights/business-class-upgrades Interestingly only available on fares booked on jetstar.com sites.. so presumably not Qantas...

    Qantas' New A321XLR

New seat map up for OGD onwards. https://www.qantas.com/en-au/onboard/fleet/a321 Possibly suggests some additional extra legroom in 19/20 ABC. Not currently marked as Economy Plus.

    Western Sydney Airport (WSI) Discussion

The few videos shown seemed to suggest common check-in downstairs then upstairs for separate international and domestic security which would suggest international airside is fully separated (unlike CBR, OOL and PER T3/4).. sonid think any international lounge has to be airside. Might be wrong...

Maybe Oscar can actually make lights out in Suzuka. LIve was a great race to watch.. assume it was just as good on the TV. Bolted at the end watching the final lap on a TV just outside the main stand entrance and on a 4.55pm train to the city. Makes me much more comfortable for my HSR train To...
