Good to see Green living up to his potential yet again.

CCs such as Amex 'used to' cover the general exemptions but some years ago now they severely tightened the T&Cs so now no exceptions are included.

Don't think that applies to TI and partcularly existing medical conditions. It's an all or nothing situation I suggest.

Unfortunately, you just have to do your homework. Try insureandgo, try cover more, Medibank etc to see what gas the best for you. Remember that your CC TI will cover most events such as delay, lost luggage etc, so possibly you only have to add medical TI with a different company.

Not knowing the full details, do you need to add cancer to the TI at all? The question would be is the disease going to cause an issue during your trip? Otherwise you could just take TI for other conditions etc.
