When QF get it right, they really can get it right. I wonder if your CSM Ben was the same Ben who provided excellent service on my recent SYD-HND flight. The airline has some great ambassadors in that role, in spite of so many other shortcomings inflicted by senior management.

Yep. The main was as small and insipid as it looks in the photos. The starter was more substantial really! When QF were murmuring recently about improved J catering I was wondering it that might have meant that mains would no longer be served on small side plates. Alas, that hasn’t changed.
