    Anyone having difficulty booking Award?

From my recent experience, and I've committed half an hour every day for a month and called QFF half a dozen times for a single seat with very flexible requirements - I would say your chances of scoring a return pair of pointy end seats to anywhere internationally are approaching zero unless...

Creative routing from NA to UK

Yes, best option, but still got to get out of the airport and wait for the cough to turn up, invariably 58 minutes later :-) But anyone know more about YUL JFK or MNC and whether there are lounges available for wp?

Creative routing from NA to UK

I've been trying to come up with some realistic means of getting me from DFW to the UK (and ideally LGW as I'll be flying out of there and it would save the one-way car hire fine). Pointy end redemptions direct ex DFW seem to have dried up for the window I'm checking. What I found so far is...

    Qantas Red Planet

I target the 15 "thanks for coming" points in twenty seconds or less by trying to imagine what qualifying answers they don't want. If I'm still looking at it 60s later I just abandon.

    Is the Qantas site broken?

I'm just getting 'we can't process this login now' or words to that effect. Anyone else see similar?

Where can I go tool and other stuff.

Anyone got thoughts on the no EK flights in the 'book flights' or 'multi city' but some presenting in the 'where can i go'? Or inability to search for flights originating from DOH?

Where can I go tool and other stuff.

I've been trying to score a LON-PER reward in early November for a while, and have noticed a few oddities in the booking process. There's nothing whatsoever showing for LON-DXB, and the booking engine doesn't even recognise DOH as a potential origin for leg1 of a multi city. Possibly of more...

Big taxes into LHR - any way to mitigate?

Interesting. Haven't found any AA availability at short notice, but maybe I will closer to the time.

Big taxes into LHR - any way to mitigate?

Ha - so I chucked in a BA DFW-LHR-CDG for sh!ts and giggles. 200usd less in taxes. I travel light :)

Big taxes into LHR - any way to mitigate?

Well a Y seat's about 1.4k aud. 9+ for F. This UK thing is getting out of hand, now they want seven hundred quid in SundryLevies (tm) to get out. Got me wondering if an afternoon or two in Paris might not be pleasant and a ride through the country on the eurostar. Incidentally, in all of this...

Big taxes into LHR - any way to mitigate?

Don't much care what they call the charge. I found an AA ticket routing through AUS, no change there - but then I noted the int'l sector operated by BA anyway. Where's good to hub through for AA?

Big taxes into LHR - any way to mitigate?

Thought I'd hit the jackpot when I found plenty of availability in BA F DFW to LHR, but then found out they want ~1200 aud in taxes. Which seems steep I have to say. And it's a redeye. Is this something that varies with other factors, or is it just that? I did note the J seats attracted the same tax
