What's your prediction on the Australian Dollar?

If it looks like there will be a protracted closure of the Strait of Hormuz, that could lift the AUD. Countries that normally source their hydrocarbons from the gulf, will need to seek alternatives. Australia is an energy exporter (coal, uranium, LNG). Many other factors in play though, so...

Qantas unveils the biggest changes to status in program history

My reading of Matts article is that the rollover scheme starts at Silver though. So a Silver who goes over 300 but doesn't reach gold will gain. Say he reaches 500 for example. That's 200 excess, which becomes 100 rollover for the following year. A decent head start on retaining silver or...

Qantas unveils the biggest changes to status in program history

Certainly it's of less benefit to those who just scrape into a given tier. But for those who currently have "wasted" excess, , the rollover is a clear improvement. I'm not sure your mention of 250 more required is correct. Starting with Silver, you have to earn an extra 50 to retain and then...

Qantas unveils the biggest changes to status in program history

If you factor in the rollover scheme, it's roughly neutral, or even an upval. Your excess credits now have value.

Where did you visit for its geographical significance?

I'll have to add it to the list. While I haven't been to Sydney's exact antipode yet, I've been fairly close. Bermuda is Perth's counterpart https://www.australianfrequentflyer.com.au/community/threads/all-the-way-to-bda.91144/

Do you have a photo of it on your phone? From memory all you need to complete APIS is exact names, DOB, Document Number, and Expiry date. How many days since you performed the transaction? I find credit/debit card the safest and most reliable payment method when buying tickets.

As an avid mullet spotter, this effort is world class. 9/10 Anyway back to the topic, I enjoy drinking regional wines and beers on holidays. It's a part of the cultural experience, especially in a restaurant serving the local cuisine. When in Rome... But on flights, no, I stay off the...

It's reliable, but yes it's expensive and tends to add up, especially on longer trips. Our household has switched to Roamless esim, which I'd highly recommend. https://roamless.com/ It's an esim that you activate as your secondary sim (assuming your phone supports dual) and then you just...

Oh yeah fake and using an awful sweetener. It's worth noting that a number of US food and beverage manufacturers are switching back to cane sugar in their products and ditching high fructose corn syrup.
