What's your prediction on the Australian Dollar?

Some highs we haven't seen for some time. FX markets possibly starting to factor in an interest rate hike in AU next week.

Ok no problem at all on European trains. With all the previous mentions of luggage, I got the impression you were proposing Kardashian levels of suitcases! One thing I would say, for Europe in particular: If taking a large wheeled suitcase, use a small backpack as your carry-on item instead of...

JetBlue Ground stop all airports early Tuesday am 10 march 2026

Apparently it was only for 55 minutes Early reports point to a major IT connectivity outage at JetBlue's New York headquarters as the cause, leading to operational pauses rather than a safety incident, with the stop expected to last about an hour. This rare full-network halt affects...

Would highly recommend it. We spent a couple of nights there between Zurich and Paris. Spectacular city, and some of the best food and wine in France. The station at Strasbourg is itself quite a sight, being encased in a glass atrium. You literally walk out of the station into a town square...

They work off intel. It's likely more to do with the US having eliminated the IRGC navy and taken out most/all of the SAM sites that are in range of the UAE. Seems incredibly unlikely that a detailed "gentleman's agreement" has been passed from today's Ayatollah, to local teams in the field...

    Middle East Airspace Diversions/Cancellations

Yes agree. And lines of comms to regional, and local commanders have been massively disrupted. Whoever is running Iran right now, has no reliable way to get these supposed orders to the officers in charge of a SAM battery in a remote part of Iran.

So a bunch more info has emerged about that US F15 that was shot down by friendly fire near Kuwait. It was actually 3 F15's that were downed. All 3 were shot down by a Kuwaiti F18, who likely mistook them for Iranian Mig29's, which have a similar outline...
