Run some numbers for say 50% loads on an A320Neo for Sydney to Canberra. Nice way to burn some money and waste equipment.

It’s all about getting past the bilateral limits and gaining an extra MEL frequency. The day they get additional bilaterals approved is the day the Canberra tag dies.

They should do better compared to Batik as they will be able to funnel through a whole bunch of connections. Batik was only doing around 30-50 people per flight. I think TSV would have been a better opportunity or even HBA.
