Lovely, chocolate, tobacco, prune, black current, somewhat bitter strong tannins initially but soften nicely in the glass.

Paradores are fabulous! We’ve stayed at 7-8 of them in various places. Santiago de Compostela, Leon, Toledo are excellent as are many others. The parador restaurants are wonderful, excellent food at economical prices. https://paradores.es/en Join up and they have multi-parador stays at discounts.
