I paused and thought. I've got one WP year banked from previous earn and will not see another in my lifetime ( And I'm only just post mid-life ). The changes offer nothing to me (as an LTG) aside from this one WP year.

When someone's so stuck on they're P1, I don't think QF will worry too much. Those LTGs that just disappear off the face of the earth for QF seem to be a significant focus of these changes.

The Perth transit lounge is a disaster full stop. It's a dungeon with a skylight. When you're about to spend 16 hours on a plane, descending into the QF dungeon doesn't really enhance your feeling of well-being.

They are a closed design, and perhaps they may offer a little active noise cancelling, but QF's J headphones are not in the same league as probably any commercial NC headphones available and I certainly wouldn't ever rely on them for a long haul flight. I don't consider them to be noise...

Given QFi hardly fly to anywhere in Europe they're just trying to disincentive you from flying on their "partners" that fly to the few destinations they actually go to.

that's what I got on the website, but on a positive note, instead of telling me I couldn't select seats for my A380 flight which it has said since I made the booking, I now can.

And therein lies the paradox. What value does LTG offer if you're going to be flying J anyway?
