And why don't you think so? My source is this: https://www.britishairways.com/jba/ba/fi_FI/baggage/bagcabin.html Which states: And you get the same result doing it using the calculator here: https://www.britishairways.com/en-au/information/baggage-essentials/checked-baggage-allowances

Per the comments earlier in this thread, just note that status passengers do not get any luggage benefits on basic economy tickets

Early check in - is there any advantage?

I'm assuming you inserted your QFF number into those BA bookings? In which case your free seat selection status benefit would've kicked in. Seat selection without status on BA is chargeable in my experience.

I just checked the policy again and it's actually 23kg for the underseat bag plus 23kg for the overhead locker bag - crazy! Handy for those who need to urgently transport some bricks I suppose 🤣

I think @clifford just meant the cabin/overhead locker limit is much higher on BA than other carriers, since many limit it to 7 or 10kg. The cabin bag weight limit is the same for all economy tickets and doesn't change with status. So yep I think we're all in agreement that there's no checked...

Nope, you'll need to cough up the money or rely on carry-ons instead

    NAB acquires Citibank Australia

Yes I think that's because the "Citi Global Transfers" service (effectively the intra-company money transfer service) has ceased in Australia, causing all transfers to now route via the standard telegraphic transfer service - so Citi US would treat it in the same way as any other incoming wire...

    Lounge Access Help Desk

Assuming there's no one around to guest her, Dragonpass offers two options - the Al Maha Transit Lounge (which is a conventional lounge) and the sleep 'n fly Sleep Lounge (which offers small cabins/pods to rest in). Al Maha can get very popular during the interchange period with long queues...

    BAEC contact email?

Don't have an email address but their Australian contact number does run on different hours to the UK one, so may be more specialised in handling queries from Australia/Asia-Pacific?

Complimentary Lounge Invitations - Link Before Expiry, Use After Expiry?

Would any of the experts here know if complimentary lounge invitations can be used after the expiry date if they're linked before the expiry date? The T&Cs say: But I'm not sure if the invitation is considered "used" when it is linked to a booking or when you actually set foot in the lounge...

Just keep in mind the cabin bag dimensions can't exceed 56x45x25cm (though this is loosely enforced). The seat selection benefit is quite generous - as Oneworld Emerald, even exit rows can be selected free of charge from time of booking.

Max 8 coming to Darwin route

Got a notification yesterday that my Darwin - Singapore flight (SQ252) in December has changed from 737-800NG to 737 Max 8. To be expected as the 737-800s are progressively being returned to lessors over the next 1.5 years, and Darwin is one of the longest routes still to be served using that...

    Anyone used Bill Fairies before?

That's what I'm hoping to find out too - are these gift cards single use, do they get redeemed into a wallet, can they be pooled with additional gift cards, etc Reading their t&cs, it looks like they charge credit card fees when purchasing gift cards through their own website, so it would've at...

    Anyone used Bill Fairies before?

I noticed today that you can now get "Bill Fairies" gift cards on Prezzee: Bill Fairies eGift Card Looks like the gift card can be used to pay most BPay billers (financial institutions and some other exclusions apply), which seems like a good way to get around credit card fees/transactions...

QF Flight Credits - Change fee being levied at redemption?

Thanks, but if that's the case, wasn't it a little disingenuous of QF to offer "flexible flying" on those lower Y buckets? It surely would've given the average consumer the impression that their ticket has been "cashed out" as a voucher when the reality is quite a bit further from that. I...

QF Flight Credits - Change fee being levied at redemption?

Stumbled across this thread on ozb and found it interesting - it looks like passenger initiated flight credits are subject to a change fee when redeeming for new flights. The wording on the QF site (https://www.qantas.com/au/en/manage-booking/credit-vouchers.html?tabId=requested-by-you) seems to...
