Free QF general lounge invitations × 2 expiring Sunday 1 March 2026

I thought these passes could only be used at QF-operated lounges, and JFK is a partner AA lounge?

Free QF general lounge invitations × 2 expiring Sunday 1 March 2026

Thanks for posting that. Normally QF isn’t so helpfully explicit and it’s a game of pot luck whether these passes which are a benefit can be used when you’re travelling!

Free QF general lounge invitations × 2 expiring Sunday 1 March 2026

I have two Qantas general lounge passes to give away which expire Sunday 1 March 2026. If you are interested, post in this thread - do not PM. Strong preference for long-standing and contributing members. Once I nominate the recipient, naturally you'll need to provide your surname and QFF #.

Article: Should Airlines & Hotels Offer Last-Minute Discounts?

I don't know the answer to the headline question but I'm in the camp that holdouts for DSCs are a small percentage of customers (even if various ahem tricks are used to maximise them). I'm guessing that, even with a nice spike to QF's revenues during DSC and the reported surge in public sector...

Flight Availability/Loadings & Upgrade Probability Help Desk

I don't know if you meant MEL-DFW which is QF21 or SYD-DFW which is QF7 so here're both

I'm in the QF Lounge thread

So you can guest people in as long as the T&Cs allow for it.

Where did you visit for its geographical significance?

The Korean DMZ which probably doesn't really count, it's more a political than a geographic border. Would love to visit some of the places already mentioned. I've been to the tri borders near Victoria Falls and Iguazu Falls, although they were already part of the tours rather than a dedicated...

New Qantas promos including double status credits (book by 3/9/25; travel 4/9/25 until 22/8/26)

And prepare answers for the FAQs... How long will DSCs take to post? Can I book through a third-party website? What if I change dates? And then there's the movies/tickets/showings speak (which I'm not clued up on)

    Ask The Pilot

I'm interested in the answer too (on this thread I often think what a great question, I wish I'd asked that!). I read on Admiral Cloudberg that airlines might have rules prohibiting three landing attempts because the reasons that two go-around were necessary mean a third attempt is also likely...

    Hotel breakfast likes & dislikes

Likes: For my palate, Asian and South Asian food such as fried rice, noodles, congee, naan, roti, curries, dumplings, buns, roast potatoes etc. Heavy but often with that, apart from a snack I won't need to eat again until dinner. Made-to-order noodle soup and omelette stations. Different juices...

QFF Business Class reward flights SYD/CHC/SYD flying on EK

You can use both the QF international business and EK lounges in SYD. Try them both and see which you prefer. In this case using rewards doesn't matter, you still get into either or both...

    Gifts for cabin crew

That's a shame although not entirely shocking. Would your friend say the best thing is nothing, apart from just being a good, pleasant, polite passenger (who takes their headphones off when FAs come around)?

    Qantas Platinum One experiences?

Have escorts been a thing for non-QF metal flights? I’ve only ever been offered an escort twice (both QF metal). Not sure partner airlines can see or really would care if you’re P1 for the most part, with some failed attempts like the above BA first dining experience. I should add, QF doesn’t...
