    Coles gift card offers

I think you may have missed my point. Your suggestion would still means losing points I should be getting. My focus is not the bonus points, I don't care about the bonus points that much. What I'm focusing on is the money laundering using AmEx aspect of this exercise: If I pay $100 to ATO via...

    Coles gift card offers

Um, no! If I buy $x of gift cards, that's because I want to push $x thru my AmEx Edge into gift cards which then in turn gets pushed into ATO / strata / Service NSW / insert anything here. If I am entitled to push $250 x 5 into ATO via AmEx Edge, but I only push thru $250 x 3, then I would be...

    Coles gift card offers

I went to a Coles in north west Sydney, but already pretty much fringe / rural, bought 5 cards, 1 could not be activated, so I had to get another one. Went to another Coles also semi-rural, bought 5, 3 could not be activated. Never seen this before.

    Coles gift card offers

I used to, but kinda stopped. These are classified as prepaid, so Sniip charge 0.85%. Problem is, Sniip is now blocking these for strata fees, so I am now pushing these via Yak at a higher rate of 0.85% + GST = 0.935% in total.

Public Transport to our airports - what's cheapest?

Seems more like hourly? Other than between 12:00 and 14:00? See Anytrip. Busways Port Macquarie does not accept Opal regardless CountryLink or local service; but they take NFC card payments.

    Woolworths gift card thread

Don't think it's that interesting. My Suncorp Clear Options Platinum Credit Card also had CRD linked to the credit card account run by Citi, but the SAV linked to Everyday Options Account. I think Westpac and CBA are also able to do this.

    Woolworths gift card thread

Yes. NAB credit card has CRD option linked to my credit card account, earn points and etc, it also has SAV option which is linked to my migrated Citi Plus account. In this case, if I were to get a refund, I could press the SAV button on the EFTPOS terminal. You won't be able to do that unless...

    Woolworths gift card thread

Card issuers get more money (merchant service fee) when the payment is routed via schemes (Visa MasterCard), whereas they basically get nothing when routed via EFTPOS network. From this point of view, $1 extra for an EFTPOS card makes sense. Of course, their profit margin would be based on many...

Right, I can see it now. Thank you. This means I have to pay full price thou, instead of 4% off from NRMA. Nah

Is this only available to selected customers? I am only seeing 1 point per $1 spend.

    NAB acquires Citibank Australia

Not only a good churn, I have a what Citi called 'check to self', paid 2% fee, got a cheque and chucked it into my home loan offset for 1 year. Final hurrah. Yeah, just seems silly if this card ends up with a lifespan of 2 months.

Not a lost card replacement, but this is the bulk migration of Suncorp credit cards. I received an e-mail over a month ago saying we must destroy our Suncorp branded cards as Suncorp has now cut tie with NAB, but now this card doesn't even appear as a card from the new NAB lending platform.

    NAB acquires Citibank Australia

I have just received a new MyCard, which is supposed to replace my Suncorp card; but the card is only new in the graphic artwork, the card number, expiry date, even the CVV, are all exactly the same, it's still a Citi card. I would have thought that they would want to move my account over to...

Who else still holds the Citibank Free For Life Premier Card?

You smart, me dumb. I was offered this, but I thought 'Diners, useless, nah'. I was so wrong obviously. This was the lesson which taught me, when it's too good to be true, take it; and always be objective, think with numbers, not emotions.

That's why I don't like apps, I like web sites. 😁 Macquarie is good, high interest, no forex fee, no fee any fee, have PC access not app only. As long as you don't mind the card not having EFTPOS network.

Who else still holds the Citibank Free For Life Premier Card?

Fact? You don't even know how these email are generated and you call fact. More like fact twisting. It is like saying everything inside a PDS booklet, with 50000 copies printed, 20 copies per bank branch spread around the country, is personalised to one specific customer and one specific...

Who else still holds the Citibank Free For Life Premier Card?

You think large organisations use MS Office mail merge to send these email? Seriously. I would give you a hint. Search EDM and canvas on the internet.

Yes, and often containing false information, because there is a group of people who seem to have taken this whole Citi NAB into somewhere much darker. These threads have become very confusing.
