No idea, and I agree. Especially now that BNE has 787 flights to NRT/KIX/BKK/ICN. Perhaps because it's not a dedicated Business Lounge or QP?
Though if a JQ pax with QFF status is flying they can use it, but that's entry based on status.
I live in Brisbane, so QF are never on the radar for a Europe flight (mainly due to price, but also I'm not taking a 5 hour flight on a 737 first), especially when I have the option of SQ/QR/EK/CX/BR/CI/KE among others.
$100 is a great deal for that route and 100% worthwhile. And most aircraft are still fitted with dividers, but even if they're not, J is still a better place to sit for 90 minutes than Y.
This was live last month. It was active for a flight I took from SYD-BNE (but not BNE-SYD the week before).
What was interesting is that the VA app, live tracker, airport FIDS and FlightRadar24 all had different departure times for my delayed flight.
I got an email from Amex about the changes 3 weeks ago.

But one of her colleagues knew, and they let me and my guest in (not sure if a guest pass was used or not, I...
Enrolled for lounge access and made a purchase on Thursday, checked Velocity account today (Saturday) and it’s activated. Which is great as I’m flying tomorrow.
I hope access is easy as the website says I just need to provide my VFF number but I need the Amex card for my guest. What’s the bet...
