Article: Reward Seat Release Patterns Have Changed Fundamentally

Unfortunately, I'm yet to fully master the ability to understand what people are trying to articulate, outside of the words they have provided in writing.

Article: Reward Seat Release Patterns Have Changed Fundamentally

Why do you think they are "holding" reward seats? The most likely scenario is that they wanted to sell seats for cash, they haven't sold, and hence airlines to try and increase revenue by opening up unsold seats as rewards.

    Qantas Club Johannesburg

So the relevant information in this situation is the information you've seen on the Qantas webpage. Qantas Club is not connected to Oneworld and access to the partner lounges, is determined through negotiations between Qantas and the lounge operator.

Qantas Business Class meals & menus

Silly you need to argue your way to still fairly stingy compensation.

💯 The bread and butter is one area of QF's dinning I wouldn't touch. 1718149854 Be careful what you wish for. They may start making their bread with ingredients in season... 😂

I'd take those Swedish cold cuts over a Vegemite Sandwich 😁 If QF ever starts serving me Vegemite...

The ham and cheese, with the Pepe Saya, did go in the bread for a Sandwich. I'm a simpleton. The bread was probably the best bread QF has ever given me.

Qantas Business Class meals & menus

3 June 24 - 1705 - QF803 - SYD to CBR Always find it funny to get served a hot meal on such a short flight. Can be stressful trying to finish without scolding your tongue. Meal was a Chicken Curry. No other options. Was tasty enough, but it isn't going to win any awards. Would have taken...

Qantas Business Class meals & menus

3 June 24 - 1410 - QF533 - BNE to SYD An unexpected A330 service (was a 737 yesterday when I checked in). Meal options were: Ploughman's Plate, Cauliflower Soup and the infamous Vegetarian pizza. As per last time, I choose the Ploughman's plate, which I enjoyed even more this time. Good...

    QF2 SIN-SYD 1Jun delayed 19 hours

Though, it doesn't actually need to go to PER. If people were impacted in London, they may be rerouted onto QF2 and further passengers down the line bumped. I have no knowledge of what actually happened, just a possible supposition.

    QF9 / QF10 Perth

Reality is, even if you loved Qantas and they delivered the same amazing service as Singapore or the ME carriers, at the same price, they could never serve all the European destinations. Project sunrise or not. Simple geography. There are people who keep looking back 30 years when the aviation...

SQ321 LHR-SIN Encountered Severe Turbulence [At least 1 Fatality and 30 Injured]

Reality is, something like this, is quickly out of the news cycle. It's not a whole jet going down or missing... As for people paying premiums only for failsafe airlines... It didn't stop them flying SQ before this, or Emirates, or JAL...

Let me know when you find an airline that doesn't experience turbulence.

Qantas QF7 retimed to 11.50am departure from Sydney

Qantas will often try to say "there are no more points seats"... That doesn't mean that is correct. It generally is not. When people are filled with the right knowledge, it helps them get the correct outcome. Often that will require more work and stress than is needed unfortunately.

Qantas adds Brisbane-Manila but suspends Sydney-Shanghai flights

I don't see rebooking on MU as being an option supplied on the commercial policy.

Qantas adds Brisbane-Manila but suspends Sydney-Shanghai flights

I would logically assume that QFs cost base is significantly higher than every Chinese carrier. Very few leisure travellers will pay significantly more to try another brand, so to attract those passengers, they would likely need to lower prices. No point having a full plane, if the yield means...

Qantas adds Brisbane-Manila but suspends Sydney-Shanghai flights

Sorry, I'm not sure how you have connected this airport presentation to a rumour that QF would fly to KUL. If it was something that came out of someone at QF, fair enough... Airports often talk up business opportunities.

Qantas adds Brisbane-Manila but suspends Sydney-Shanghai flights

Might just be me, but I think their commercial policy is fairly clear and your entitled to rebooking via HKG or TYO up to one week either side. You just need to keep pushing (which you shouldn't need to) and then escalate through other means. Something about squeaky wheel and grease.
