It relies on getting a QF seat, but don't rule out a transfer in SCL. BA and IB both fly there.

It's offered to me in both directions. NAN-MEL is a 350 but MEL-NAN (the overnight in the screenshot) and both BNE legs are a 7M8.

I cant see CR seats for the flights in question, so you might be right. Going via NAN for 160 SC sounds tempting, although it's a DSC booking so not that much more than the original routing with PC.

Can anyone confirm that you can have more than 2 surface sectors when adding flights through the call centre?

I was denied SYD-SCL in any cabin 3 times, as recently as a month before the dump. They put out all cabins for basically every flight around the time period I wanted.

Finally got a SYD-SCL sector with the most recent releases, after multiple platinum requests over the past year. If anyone is waiting for similar it's worth having a look now!

I've had no problems getting a request in for an existing booking, not that the seats have been approved...

You can also use rj.com to select seats in my experience.
