It will be insanely challenging to find 4 seats on a single flight with QR, I would advise getting 2 seats on separate days, or just paying for the other tickets. The 2x Avios reward seats won't show up until you book the 2 at saver rate and that is not guaranteed to happen either.

Yeah, this is what I've done a few weeks ago and it worked well. I've just sent a list of hotels to the concierge email who gave me the total pricing for each option and the 4th night rebate amount. Much easier than trying to get pricing for 5+ hotels over the phone.

Their list of partners is very good but the earn rate after factoring the redemption rates is awful, they don't seem to even have decent sign-up bonuses either. CBA cards have always been a miss for me.

Award tickets on QR always book into the "U" fare class but annoyingly it is not listed on their website showing which fare classes come with lounge access.
