Idea, book PER-KUL-SIN call back and ask to remove the KUL-SIN flight and add KUL-HKT? Or will they have to rebook the entire trip starting from PER?

Having some issues with MH J awards, the PER-KUL J flight shows if I search for PER-SIN (shows as PER-KUL-SIN) but I can't get it to show if I put in HKT as the destination, or just searching PER-KUL and trying to build a multi city award. Married segment issue? What are the chances the call...

Qantas customer service is terrible, the phone centre is a joke and the latest QFF "enhancements" laughable, business class sub standard, catering getting worse and worse. The cost cutting never ends, $300+ million profit annually from QFF apparently isn't enough! After my next 2x OWA bookings...

No worries, I forgot DOH on the return from Europe, updated my post. Essentially for Europe + NA, you need Eastern Europe and the West Coast of NA to make it work. I'm looking at including NYC in my next one, but that limits me to the Middle East or Asia for the 2nd trip

I did PER-DOH-AMM-ATH // JTR-HEL // ARN-DOH-KUL - trip 1 KUL-HKG-YVR-HKG-PER - trip 2 Europe and Canada, 2 trips 9 months apart. Just had to pay for KUL-PER-KUL (cheap Y) as well as ATH-JTR & HEL-ARN Will likely book another award next year, definitely going to do 2 trips again :)

Has any had a definitive answer from Qantas regarding adding an infant to one of these awards? I've flown J with the little one with both CX and QF, one way awards. CX charged 10% the full revenue fair, QF charged 'fuel surcharges and taxes' both were fairly significant costs especially...

I understand the rules for Qantas Classic Rewards when flying Qantas metal, just unsure what applies when using Qantas to book with other OW airlines. For example, I'm flying Cathay HKG-PER later this year booked via Alaskan Mileage Plan. Alaskan cannot add an infant to the ticket, only Cathay...

I've booked 2x of these in J before but unsure of the rules regarding infants - we have a new addition. Does Qantas' rules apply to infants (added free of charge to all legs irrespective of airline flown) or do the individual airline's own rules apply for every individual leg of the journey...

good to know! The Alaskan award flights are domestic - so should be fine. Flying on an AA ticket BNE-HKG with QF (I can see AA have added my daughter when I log into my QFF account, I'll just triple check with QF whether that means a ticket has been issued or not). Yet to pay AA or QF anything...

I'm in the same boat as the OP AA could add the infant to the ticket but couldn't issue the ticket - said to call Qantas another booking via Alaskan - they couldn't do anything and said to call Qantas Qantas: completely unable to assist via their SMS system, if I call and wait on hold for 1...

Cancelled the plan this morning - was quoted $99 for the handset and they said the $25 was off the plan and not the phone. Although the call centre was horrible to deal with and probably just as clueless as they were inept. If its $74 or $99, I don't really care. I'm selling the handset(s)...

Just got the phone and SIM, put the sim in an old iphone - no dramas SIM was already activated Maybe because I'm in WA it took longer to arrive hence already activated... either way, if the points post within 2 days I'll be stoked :)

If the SIM is already activated, do we even need to open the phone box? I think I'll just sell it brand new in a box as soon as the points clear.

So a temporary BP card picked up in store (free?) - then linked to my Velocity will do the job? Looks like off to BP tomorrow to pick up 3 cards :D
