I welcome this improvement...on my Monday arvo I treat myself to a salad resembling Neil Perry's finest onboard as the hot food is fairly unappetising.

I was standing in the galley waiting to get changed on a recent flight and they have reasonably extensive notes on everything on the menu including wines. There are photos and even pronunciation guides on some of the key terms.

Finding it increasingly useful to have reserved sections in lounges. LAX was a wait list on tables for the general section. SYD has also been more pleasant for morning departures down the end.

I’m through there most weeks and tbh I’ve found myself gravitating toward the standard dishes at the buffet. I’d appreciate a few new options like a simple stir fry.

Seems like the SC counter has reset for the aug and Sep year end. No issues continuing with QF at this stage. Should be above 600 for the month of October.

I believe some of the lounges had been contracted like QF do and will go back in house to CX. I’ve certainly noticed it at the wing where the bar tenders were not the usual quality. Hopefully going back in house will change the Cx quality.

Remember there are always one, two or three tiers more on the hamster wheel of loyalty spinning above WP. Go where they treat you well
