Indeed as a heavy domestic flyer it does impact me - BNE-TSV, SYD-HOB is now 20 and CNS-SYD is now 30. CNS-BNE is also 30.. mmmm... Of course to upgrade to CNS-SYD it is 10,000 points (flexi) of course 10,000 points is the same for SYD-PER but that is still 40SC. So that is fairer..;)

I know you are trying your best to defend VA lounge food (and disagreeing with anyone that thinks otherwise) but was in the Sydney VA lounge today and it was BORING. Although they did have tinned pineapple so I assume it will always be better than the QF J lounge.

Must admit I visited the QP in MKY this week and was pleasantly surprised - being post security it was an impressive regional lounge. RedRoo - please pass on my positive feedback! They had fresh bowls of fruit salad, yogurts, toast and a QP host! But I don't expect regional QPs to be anything...
