Especially as I am about to book a business ticket from IST-SYD on MH using AA miles..sucks big time! Booked SYD-CDG on MH 3 weeks ago and only $70 in fee's! Maybe I will try and get CX CDG-SYD Instead!

I have a 10hr transit in Hong Kong. Does any one know if I can go thru transit lounge into the Cathay 1st class lounge and then depart and leave and go into Hong Kong for the day. Old blogs say the staff at the Cathay lounge will escort you thru immigration and customs!

I left mine in seat pocket on flight SYD-MNL...got it back 2 hours later at the Qantas office in Manila airport! Nice job Qantas staff there!

If they are planning on ceasing boarding announcements, they definitely need to upgrade there monitors and have more of them located throughout the clubs!
