We ended up just using the Skybus at T3 departures, there was no line and bus arrived shortly after, pretty quick, better than the train IMO but only because no waiting at 11am.

Connecting from Brisbane to QF1 next week with MrsFletty and FlettyJnr, I think we might just take the train, and gain some more Flounge time as a result.

Didn't even know you could have spirits in the morning! I desperately needed a coffee on a recent flight after a poor nights sleep, I think a Chivas would've done a better job of it.

My favourite is when the sheep line up and then complain to the J check in desk that the line took way too long.

We had the pizza on Monday's flight, looked terrible but actually tasted pretty good in my opinion. The return journey had a chicken and avo sandwich which was also pretty good, especially for a 2pm departure.

I think a WP release would be fine in the sense that there is I availability on the international segment, and then they can force the domestic connection anyway provided there is C availability.

I saw a Reddit post a few days ago where someone had a "Titanium bonus" of 600k. They claimed to have called QF, not sure why you'd tell anyone that...

Still not worthwhile value for some flights I'm looking at (1.4c a point redemption), but could be great value if this applies still for WP releases off more expensive fares.

For $199 and 60k I'll give this another go, held the hard just over 24 months ago so just in time.

QF27 has I9 availability for the most part (a few I8 and I7 in early-mid August) up until the 15th September. Depends how many seats, but no one can say for sure, I've tried plenty of dates not in blackout periods (school holidays, long weekends etc.) with I9 with no luck.

To close the loop on this, I called a third time and had a very helpful agent, they couldn't help link the passes but they opened case for me to send screenshots of my issue. Did that and they then allowed me to transfer the passes to the relevant pax, and I could successfully link them from...
