It's being reported that the mask mandate on domestic flights is being removed as of September 9. I assume this will also impact the Australian inbound international flights too.

Haven't tried Hurricane's Grill & Bar but went to Brazilian Flame Bar and grill end of 2020. We thought it was okay, nothing special. Have been back to the Gold Coast 3 more times since then and never gone back to Brazilian Flame Bar and Grill.

We're flying to the US over Christmas so very pleased the masking rules are being removed. Now if only the AU domestic requirements could be removed also....

Another thumbs up for jimmy's taxi service. Used them again twice yesterday and they have beautifully clean nice cars, communicative and easy to deal with. I used them before the pandemic so good to see business is on the up for them again.

QF146 return flight AKL-SYD. Only two mains offered (apparently this is standard from AKL). A butter chicken and rice or braised beef blade with mash and veg. Plus a little fig and ginger pudding cupcake with caramel on top. Don't forget the Lindt ball! The beef was nice.

QF143 SYD-AKL. Lunch offering on this service with a chicken and quinoa salad, beef in black bean sauce with Asian greens and jasmine rice or a sauteed pork medallion. I went with the pork medallion which was quite tender. Also served a raspberry ganache cake (?) and obligatory lindt chocolate...

QF402 MEL-SYD 6am flight. The offering was this pumpkin omelette or a granola. The omelette was served on a base of cubed potatoes with some minuscule pieces of mushroom and bacon mixed in. There was a passionfruit yoghurt and rhubarb muffin. Luckily the pumpkin was easy to pick out.

What time was this in AKL when the transit was closed - overnight or during the day?

Can anyone tell me how long it normally gets to receive an email about a flight credit? I needed to cancel a booking and should get a flight credit- I cancelled it a week ago and still no email about the flight credit nor is the IT system recognising it if I put in the travel booking reference...

Who do you give them to? Is it staff at the various hotels/restaurants you are at? Is it better than chocolates or just easier to carry?

Can't see the domestic requirement holding for much longer - it will be too difficult to manage. Or the domestic airlines may just take the same approach as some of the European airlines, they won't enforce it.

Both day trips a fortnight apart. The first one arrives at 12.45pm into AKL and then departs 15.55pm. The next run arrives in AKL at 14.35 and departs at 16.10. At least the first one has the longer gap and will inform whether I need to change timing on the second SC run
