In NAN, on the way home to CBR, Fiji Air staff did a pre-flight bag check after we scanned our boarding passes and just before boarding. They took my full 250 ml standard airline water bottle that I filled in the lounge! We did have a chuckle to ourselves.

We flew CBR-NAN earlier this year when I was SG. So, couple of things: we had acres to the J lounge as we flew on a Sunday, sweet! The CBR international departure lounge is fine. The bar's ok, over priced as usual though Mrs Nut said the Chardy wasn't that good. Is there any special treatment...

We had a similar experience driving back from Melbourne, before Euroa. I was hungover AF and Mrs Nut was on the peddle, doing a good 115 k's (ok, slightly over but with the flow) when all of a sudden "coughk, ducks" "WTF - DUCKS!" Somehow a family of ducks crossed two lanes of the Hume unscathed...
