...and QF 7, October 2023. No menu, just pics. The Aperitivo that's not even an entre: Arancini ball and a beer 🙂 Had the champers and nuts on arrival. A real entre: chicken satay and a cauliflower stir fry thingy. From memory was tasty and a good portion. Looks like things are going...

...and to complete the overnighter in Glenrowan, how could you not do a visit to Kellyland: Animatronic Theatre Museum. Cheesy yes but entertaining and informative. Thoroughly enjoyed. The animatronic reenactment of the Kelly Gangs last stand at Anne Jones' Glenrowan Hotel complete with Coles...

While in the region, we also stopped at Morrisons of Glenrowan. This is an old style tasting room where you talk to the owner/wine maker. There are plenty of reds to choose from but as the driver, was limited to selecting a glass of the Premium Reserve that very tasty. A bottle of the Reserve...

On the Victorian theme, we stopped at Glenrowan on the way home yesterday. The kids gave us a voucher for Christmas to Baileys vinyard, both agreed we had the best pizza lunch in a long time with a glass of red.

Absolutely Scash! We're definately doing a repeat visit and the adult kids are keen to join. There's a couple of quirky shops in Portarlington that sell cool stuff at a fraction of Mornington's prices. Sadly, some of the old olive groves are being bulldozed for housing subdivisions.

While we were sleeping off a proper sessh with our eldest son, his girlfriend and the outlaws at the G's Deck Bar, our youngest son was flying from Toronto to Edmonton on Boxing Day. Toronto's Pearson airport, down to one runway. Sat in the aircraft for two hours due to congestion. ....taxi...

Couple from yesterdays Boxing Day test at the G. What a day, the seven of were wrapped to be part of the 93,300 crowd watching 20 wickets fall in a day. Sensational! Was a cool breeze up in the nose bleed section so around 2.30 we abandoned our seats and spent the afternoon in the Deck Bar at...

Son did a stint with Swissport, part of which was marshalling. Suffice to say he said people are dumb and can't follow basic directions, he's has had to pull people up. Sadly, they wouldn't be there without a reason.

    No Business seats SYD-CBR

Hazard a guess Matt but the government directed cuts to public service travel is starting to bite. Qantas are simply adjusting to lower demand.

    QF Platinum Recognition on flights

On top of Mrs Nut rightfully calling me a flog, the best WP recognition happened a couple of years ago. I was left stranded in the AKL QF cupboard (RIP) after my flight to BNE was delayed three hours. Take off eventually occured and the Pursuer later introduced himself apologising for the late...

AFF Review: Qantas A380 First Class (SYD-JNB)

A couple of years ago, a QF flight from SYD to DFW we were on ran out of meals in J! Two work mates down the back had a choice of tuna mornay or they could make something up for them. WTF, we're in J they politely enquired? Turned out well in the end. The crew said a couple of pax up the front...
