I ended up calling Velocity after it didn't get ticketed for a couple days, call was picked up instantly and resolved within 10 mins, painless process compared to calling up Qantas. Hopefully it's a smooth process on your end as well.

Looks like the White Paper is out, I can see there's a lot of "The Australian Government will consult/review/consider/report" rather than concrete details. We might be waiting a while to find out more around this...

Points usually take six weeks to come in, so I'll treat the first one as a test and if they don't post then I'll just cancel the remaining two bookings. Promo ends in six days but the T&C's say they can be for travel by 5 August 2025.

Made one booking for tonight at the SPOT ON 92799 Tanjung Indah Homestay Syariah, $3.37. Let's see how this goes, might book the other two nights in six weeks time to see if the points actually come in.
