When the program first came out the city stay at Alto in Melbourne was only $149 less a $100 QANTAS Hotels voucher made it $49. Pretty cheap for a night in the city which we enjoyed, and got a leaf as well. They’re now minimum $189 - jumped pretty quickly after the program started.

30/11 rollover, and leaves went grey. I’ve done one challenge so far this new year (home offset). The quiz has not reappeared in the well-being app, but today a second leaf mysteriously turned green (it must be spring). Checked, and it was for the quiz. Very strange.

You need the Max bundle added the business class fare to earn points and SCs, although I don’t know which lounge it provides access to for those below Platinum. Platinum or P1 can access the F lounge even if flying JQ economy with no bundle (based on FF tier access entitlements alone).

One of the “offers” to try and keep me was a 3 month suspension at $5.50/month which OPTUS would cover. Not sure what was going to happen after 3 months. But as far as I’m concerned the sooner the relationship terminated the better - so I’m ready to take up their next QANTAS points offer sooner 😀

Are the NZ flights treated the same as domestic - ie Row 4 blocked out until t-80 except for tiered people who can see the empty seat? If a P1 wanted to sit in 4 E, can probably book it. Shadow might appear at t-80 to stop lower tiers moving into it if still empty?

When they arrived at the front of the queue or were they intercepted mid-queue? Did they have to join the back of the red queue?

Isn’t the relevant date your QANTAS year anniversary, rather than the date you qualified for P or the date you were accorded that tier? What is your QFF membership year end date?

That's a good question, but I can't answer it because I had over 1800 on QF in the previous year in the first place. I can confirm, though, that there was some checking, and an agent telephoned me back advising that my 1800 rolled over SCs also contributed to the 2700 QF marketed and operated...
