No, I don’t think you should go to the trouble. Your explanation is pretty clear. It’s just a quirk created by those different pools that if one looks widely enough sometimes you can spot a bargain.

QF website now has JQ47 for $559 Y MAX, while you can still get on the same flight through the QF website in J for 13.8k points & $45!! Go figure that one out.

I bought my JQ47 ticket for Friday 2nd when they were $49 (plus max bundle of $90). But my plans might be changing so I might have to forego the bargain. At least with MAX, if you change your mind you can get a voucher for the full value
