I feel the same. I struggled to understand the changes described in the first post, even though they are set out in writing. If you're trying to describe that over the phone to someone it Fiji etc, it's a gamble at best. I'd cut your losses at this point. Messing with CR's is always perilous.

Very good point. The other issue with such cases, is that even if you do make the connection, your bags may not. Especially at Heathrow. Then you are left dealing with a luggage separation issue. Better to get this sorted before travel, as you say.

Are you certain it requires a data connection? I've used other such apps for airlines and various european train operators, and they work in "offline mode" where you can display the ticket QR code without a live data connection. If the Ryanair app doesn't work like that, then it's a fail...

Yes no problem, we are using EK more than QF these days. EK's new family pooling system looks very good on the face of it. For this trip: If we credit to QF - 40000 points and 0 SC's If we credit to EK - 72000 Skywards Miles and 72000 "tier" miles (gets all of us most of the way to EK silver)

As far as I can tell, EK doesn't support this. There is the option on the MMB to change each passenger's QFF number to an EK Skywards number, but that's it.

Wasn't aware of that site. Looks useful, thanks for posting. Is that still the case if we allocate the bookings to our Skywards numbers though? In any case, we wouldn't get much out of lounge access on this trip and would prefer a better earn rate
