I'm surprised that QF25 (8.30pm departure) offers a supper service as oppose to a full dinner. Ordinarily I wouldn't mind as I'd have had dinner in the F lounge but this week I wont have too much time in the lounge if any.

Just got the email. What a bitter disappointment. I stopped transferring to SQ when it changed from 2:1 to 3:1. Emirates now 4:1. Times have certainly changed.

No Qantas offer for me :(

I used my overseas credit in Paris last year and planning to use this years credit in Tokyo. Any restaurant recommendations? Would be keen for steak. How far in advance does the booking need to be made and the courses selected?

I thought Ibis Styles hotels had free breakfast as a standard inclusion for all guests.

Amex still allowing transfers to Hawaiian as of now. I just transferred a bunch of points to Hawaiian and then on to Alaska.

Requested 2 x J seats SYD-HND in September and surprisingly approved.

18/09 QF25 SYD-HND - Requested 2 x J - Declined Called again and requested 1 seat and got approved. Requested a second seat and got declined. They suggested putting the approved seat on hold for 7 days and keep trying every day to get the second one approved. Will keep trying.

It was marked qf but I was still denied and told to go to the strata lounge.

Am booked SYD-AKL-PPT on QF in Y (AKL-PPT is operated by Air Tahiti Nui). Any clue whether I can access EK lounge courtesy of being QF WP?

Very sad news indeed. I've really taken advantage of Alaska redemptions the last few months. Much better value compared to QF.

I was walking to one of the Priority Pass lounges and noticed the OneWorld lounge on the way so thought I'd stop by and try my luck. I confidentally handed over my Jetstar boarding pass and my phone showing my Qantas digital card from the app and was welcomed inside. Pretty basic lounge overall...

I believe QF announced the SYD-AKL-JFK route sometime in 2022 with the promise of the lounge upgrade by the time the route starts, and yet the works haven't even started. What a letdown.

The same owners also own Novotel Sydney Brighton Beach and they don’t offer any Accor Plus discounts in their restaurant but offer the discount to in house guests only in the bar.
