    Australia to London - Advice for a newbie

    For max comfort and probably not too much more $$ I’d do a day flight to Asia, say Singapore in economy return from Brisbane, then a separate ticket Singapore to London in business. It does mean it would be a 2 stop journey however, but much more comfortable overall.

    Unsure which way to turn here. We got EK First (A class) flights MEL DXB LHR // CDG DXB SIN MEL coming up this Friday. We’ve got no status on EK at all, and don’t really care as we travel in business or first anyway. I’m thinking the better option may be to credit to Aeroplan instead of Skywards...

    There’s quite a few on YouTube, and it appears to be rather hit and miss, with the majority of reviews negative due to older style seats/aircraft. We looked at it a few months back and decided against Lufthansa business for now.

    We just did this on Amex’s advice. Had 2 F tickets to purchase, transaction didn’t go through. Called Amex and they actually advised us to put the account into credit. Is this new? We did so, it all went through, tickets issued etc etc. Now we know what our Plat Charge Card credit limit seems to...
