    Probably a 3 day pairing, but if a widebody was to be introduced again (here's hoping!) then the pairing lengths could be greater as they would be under a different contract. I used to have 6 day pairings on the 777 to AUH.

    I wouldn’t say it’s common but it definitely does happen. It is part of the landing checklist which needs to be completed by 1000ft. Every airline will have their own stabilisation criteria and point at which the aircraft can continue if it’s within parameters.
