Panic to Fist-Pumping in 5 minutes

I had the opposite was booked on QF11 earlier in the year missed the connection in SYD so was rebooked next day on AA72. I’d say food/drinks are similar to QF when leaving Sydney (even the small things like same Pepe saya butter). One thing I did really value on AA was the Wifi, yes it wasn’t...

Check Accor Plus free night availability

See I was thinking and so were others that this thread would die but clearly not. If the search above is anything to go by only 31% of hotels in Singapore are supporting the new stay plus nights.

Check Accor Plus free night availability

Great thanks. I’ve already got a stay plus booked one of those nights hence why I ask as I look to cancel and rebook to get the two instead.

Check Accor Plus free night availability

Hmm ok, sorry to be a pain but are you able to list the 12 (ignore the ibis ones). A non stay plus search shows 38 which means the Accor statement that you’ll be able to book without availability limitations is not correct.

Check Accor Plus free night availability

Under the new system is someone able to search Singapore 3-5 April 2026. Are all hotels apart of the new system? Thanks in advance.

    Qantas Platinum One experiences?

Hoping for a free one instead or just don't want to use the points?

Qantas boosts international capacity, wet lease Finnair aircraft

Correct, nothing else of the aircraft will change so AY interior. Unlike the current AY flights it will have a QF crew (both flight deck and cabin) but as per the existing AY wet leases it will be a QF soft product onboard (meals, amenity kit, blankets etc).

    AccorPlus China

Different availability and often much better, for example the MGallery was coming up in A+ China meanwhile nothing as a StayPlus.

Qantas boosts international capacity, wet lease Finnair aircraft

According to planerspotters.net this will become VH-QPL so I assume that's a sticker over the top or it'll get a new VH one.

The Virgin Australia Newbie Questions Thread

I don't have either. By my current maths to retain platinum I'd need a further 611 status credits by the end of July next year, even if I did have the TSCs that's $2444 spend to retain which even at that isn't worth it.

    AccorPlus China

One thing I'm yet to try but apparently you can do (try at own risk) is get a refund for AccorPlus China provided you haven't used any of the vouchers. For the credited nights they apparently reverse them. Given we're now moving to a calendar year program for me this won't be something I'll try...

Jetstar Price increase from 2024 Christmas period check?

My guess is that the previous year could have been booked during a sale but even with that a Friday compared to a Tuesday makes a big difference. In December the cheapest Friday MEL-BNE oneway starts at $143 whereas $121 on a Tuesday and even better $100 on a Wednesday. Throughout the year...

1 Oct 2025 Changes to CBA Award Partners

After 1 October can still go 2:1 into Velocity from CBA then transfer Velocity to Krisflyer. This works out at 1 CBA point to 0.32 Krisflyer miles whereas the direct is 1 CBA point to 0.33 Krisflyer miles so not a major loss.

Melbourne Qantas First Lounge Closed most October 2025

If you've got status and looking at the lounge invitations page this will often show. The no access means you currently can't link an invitation to that booking but obviously with status that is not an issue.

    Qantas Courtesy Upgrade Love

Well to answer the question, nope it doesn't need to be a QF ticket. I had an economy reward seat booked via Flying Blue which received an upgrade.

Qantas Codeshare Partnership with Malaysia Airlines

Australia has an open skies agreement with Malaysia and Singapore so it doesn't need to go through IASC. Same as how you don't see Qantas applying to IASC for flight to New Zealand. There are some exceptions to this with one example a recent Indigo codeshare to NZ which required approval as it...

NAB Classic overseas access fees changing 5 November 2025

I had a citibank debit card that I held for years, once up was released mainly didn't use it but kept for emergencies. It got transferred over to NAB and then they closed it due to inactivity, I was a little annoyed as it was handy to have a spare debit card with no fees but no there is no benefit.
