I’ve most likely not been there near as frequently as you have … but last two times I was there while my better-half still had lounge access, the general terminal had heaps of seats where the QF lounge had none plus the general terminal had nice nibblies & drinks to buy where the QF lounge...

Except surely there are places where you’ve used the lounge before, so you know the general area of the terminal is a much nicer place to be? Like Hobart?
