Autumn menu for LAX FLounge, S&P was pretty good, rigatoni had a lot of flavour, and the dessert was reasonably good too.

I flew on the 9th and received my bonus points on the 11th

Had dinner in SYD before QF73 yesterday. Bao bun was great - much better than the ones I had in MEL earlier this year. Navarin of lamb was very tender. Personally preferred the Lallier Reflexion over the Rosé.

I don't have anything to back this up but I'd imagine your status when upgrades are processed, not requested, is what matters.

Ahh, probably explains why Y went from being reasonably quiet to suddenly full. Bulkhead PE and a few hours in the SYD Flounge should make it enjoyable enough 🙂

Success for 4xY SIN>BNE 27th July 2xJ SIN>BNE denied, I7 2xJ SIN>BNE denied, I9 A few SIN>SYD flights with I9 and A9 denied, and denied on a few dates for Y as well. Right up against school holidays and Euro summer is tricky.

I also put in a request for 2xU for SIN>BNE in June (both flights I7) and have been told to wait 48hrs. App still says requested after today so not looking likely based in previous experience. I've made a request before and the droid didn't give a response within 2 min so was told to wait, but...

I'd generally pay $100 to just not be jammed next to someone and have more leg room. I personally see value in any upgrade bid that's <$100.

The upgrades are at the old rate if they were requested prior to Aug 5th. In both your examples, they'll be charged at the new (higher) rate.
