Recent Experiences with Qantas' terminal transfer at SYD

I’m expecting we will be handed off at the domestic check-in at INT once mum is on the bus and then picked up again at DOM. Can’t stress about delays etc but hopefully it’s a smooth process. Thanks everyone!

I really hope not! Not sure I can manage luggage + chair between terminals.

Recent Experiences with Qantas' terminal transfer at SYD

Want to get some "real world" advice on an INT-DOM transfer. Travelling with my mum CHC-SYD-BNE (EK>QF) in J. She'll be using a wheelchair from aircraft door to aircraft door and we have a 2h15m transfer time. Seems like we'll have enough time (provided no delays etc.), but what is the actual...

Jetstar launches Various Routes for CNS/CHC/MCY/AKL/DUD/HZL/SYD/OOL

JQ already fly MEL-DPS-SIN. They must want to claw back some 3K capacity by doing another DPS-SIN.

Is Air New Zealand taking the Dreamliner off the Perth-Auckland route again?

ZK-NZJ which had been in ASP for a few weeks returned to AKL last night.

That is some cheese, on a plate. QF calling it a 'cheese plate' is stretching the friendship though.

    Linkt partners up with 711

Not sure about Wilson but the Linkt offer overrides Fuel Lock. And pay at pump isn't available with the Linkt offer either as the barcode needs to be scanned.

    Linkt partners up with 711

My Velocity number is attached to my 7-Eleven app so I get Velocity points that way. The 6c a litre off at 7-Eleven is great for me (in Brisbane) as they're often cheapest anyway. Shell and BP are usually the most expensive fuel here, so even with 6c a litre off at Shell, it was still more...

Wonder if this will head to Flying Colours at TSV shortly?

Jetstar BNE to BKK business lounge?

No idea, and I agree. Especially now that BNE has 787 flights to NRT/KIX/BKK/ICN. Perhaps because it's not a dedicated Business Lounge or QP? Though if a JQ pax with QFF status is flying they can use it, but that's entry based on status.

Jetstar BNE to BKK business lounge?

That also won't get access at BNE International. In Australia that gets access at OOL (QC) and SYD/MEL (Business Lounge).

Jetstar BNE to BKK business lounge?

There isn't a QC at BNE, there's a Qantas International Lounge which means JQ pax don't get access unless you have QFF status or QC membership.

New Qantas route - Perth to Paris from July 2024

I live in Brisbane, so QF are never on the radar for a Europe flight (mainly due to price, but also I'm not taking a 5 hour flight on a 737 first), especially when I have the option of SQ/QR/EK/CX/BR/CI/KE among others.

Virgin Australia UpgradeMe pricing and success

$100 is a great deal for that route and 100% worthwhile. And most aircraft are still fitted with dividers, but even if they're not, J is still a better place to sit for 90 minutes than Y.

Jetstar launches Various Routes for CNS/CHC/MCY/AKL/DUD/HZL/SYD/OOL

I don't understand the afternoon departure/late night arrival of both JQ and VA, it's a waste of a day for the passengers.

Qantas Business Class meals & menus

I don't understand how an FA dumps that onto a plate, looks at it and thinks "that looks great, I'm happy to present that to the passenger".
