Yeah but now Virgin (aka Bain) have trashed their frequent flyer program by moving towards a spend based status tier system....a lot of people like myself have become increasingly disengaged with the Velocity program. I have gone from Velocity Platinum---> Gold--> Silver-->Forever Red!

I reckon if you don’t get there by 5-6 am or earlier, you will have no chance! My time and sleep are more valuable!
