IIRC that was only allowed for specific COVID credits. I believe the general rule is equal amount or higher, and you can split the passengers into separate PNRs/vouchers

I don't have a problem with them having more generous weight limits over JQ and VA, but they should at least actually weigh them consistently and ensure dimensions and bag counts are within the rules.

Not sure how the birth certificate comes into play with a name change due to marriage - did she go through with an actual name change which issued a new birth certificate? If you can't issue a new passport with the name on the booking, your only option might be to cancel them. For the reward...
