An erstwhile member (I forget who) has said one of the most FAQs on AFF (probably second only to 'when is the next DSC?') is LAX transit times needed for a connecting flight. It seems that which terminals to get to, TBIT etc, are also asked about regularly. Thus my suggestion - a sticky / help...

My +1 really wanted to visit the business dungeon because, unlike the F Lounge, they have a juicer. The agent was a bit bemusedly disbelieving we wanted in. We popped in for a brief look - after spending the preceding hour in the F lounge.

I managed to get rid of the message somehow (even though I've checked all my details and nothing is missing) for a while, but it just couldn't stay away.

I’ve just noticed this too in my email. The SCs it said I earned were close to 8,000, about double the truth. No contribution to LTP yet!

To QF's credit, the steps yesterday ended up being over the goal when it eventually worked, so did get the (meager) points for yesterday and today. So all's well that ends well.

Many of mine have already been said: +1 to checkin that takes ages - even at very expensive places IME. Being forced to fill in a registration form even though you've already filled in details - must be punishment for using a third-party website. Lengthening checkin even further. Lifts taking...

I also received the email. The app didn't have this offer to activate so it must be automatic. But I did see a separate offer for bonus SCs for business. They really must need the cash hit? 😕

IMHO many of us want to and wish VA would succeed, even if only to keep QF honest and prices not too extortionate. But history (and lots of discussion on identical or similar topics on AFF!) suggests overextension and ambition will only lead to disaster. VA had international and wide body...

Thanks for sharing :) Acknowledging how things are meant to work versus how they really do, I’ve flown many times as a P1 in F or J and have only had the host when actually in F - I snagged the spa a couple of times but only after reaching the lounge. And never pyjama sizes - on board there...
