yes, two different flight numbers, two boarding passes. booked direct with SQ website. Fortunately this time in J. I got caught with the FQTV field on a previous booking. Thanks everyone for this feedback I can see I can make it work. I'm just wanting to finesse the SC, not wasting SC with...

    BNE-SIN-LHR Splitting programs

As a part of upcoming SQ RTW fare I'm toying with the idea to credit the first half of BNE-SIN-LHR to Velocity. My idea would be BNE-SIN credit to VA SIN-LHR credit to Krisflyer on the way SQ qualification The only way I see it happening is if I only check-in BNE to SIN using Velocity...

    Understanding SQ/KF status attainment

My understanding that as at Jan 2026 your elite miles will go to Zero. You will continue to be a Solitaire until 12 months from when you achieved that level. Let's say you go Solitaire Jul 2025, then you remain Solitaire until 2026 by which time you go to what ever level you've achieved...

5,000 Reasons to Join the Party - Virgin Money (2,500 Velocity) by opening a debit card account

I also take heed that the 'normal' spend transactions earn 8x Money, 4x Velocity points per transaction. Not per dollar.

Any Oneworld Lounge @MNL open past midnight?

Blacksheep and Clifford I consider you are brave taking on the QF97/98 schedule. What's your plan QF97 - Arrival into MNL 1am, let's say cleared immi and baggage by 1:45am, Makati type 2:30am QF98 - keeping hotel for an extra night then heading out to NAIA midnight? That schedule will kill me...

    APEC Business Travel Card

If your questions relates to an international arrival into Brisbane this has been my experience as recent as Dec 24. The crew lane on the left is signed for ABTC but I've never found it faster. For immigration I take the newer automated passport lane that doesn't require the preprinted card to...

Booking AA Flights - Use AA US or AA Aus?

Very disappointed about Qantas FF program

Sure the impression that the consumer would get through the initial marketing of FF programs is that it is possible to be 'rewarded' whereas it seems QFF and VFF have quickly become the frequently shafted flyers. The upfront marketing blurb is that consumers will be flying in no time and be...

Soft landing go around back to Gold

I did a status match with Virgin a few years ago during Covid and managed to bump along with Gold until this current year where I've been soft landed back to Silver. I took up the Hilton Gold partner offer when they matched me. I have an option to requalify for VA Gold before the 30 Sept...

Can anyone confirm that Australian passport holders don't require a visa for the Czech Republic?

Thanks for the reminder on this RSD. I'm off to Prague this year. I last visited in 1993 a few short years after the revolution. The prices were incredibly cheap and construction was going gang busters as investors were moving in to fill the gap and catchup. Really looking forward to the contrast.
