Hi There,

I'm trying to work out via the FF points calculator on Qantas, but I dont seen to be able to get an answer. If Im flying ADL/CBR booked on 1 ticket but through Sydney do I get status credits as just ADL/CBR ie 15 or ADL/SYD/CBR 25?
They are different flight numbers.

Hubby needs 45 points to maintain his lowly status, and this flight will make the difference.
So if I get the extra points Ill do the transfer if I don't I'll fly direct.

Thanks Guys

Different flight numbers is the key point here.

It doesn't matter that it's booked on one ticket, because they are separate flight numbers you will get the appropriate SC's and points for each.

Same flight numbers after a stop over also counts, which is why people sometime break a LHR trip in SIN etc.

Not always the case but YMMV.

I received SCs for each sector of the Queendland East Coast milk run back in 2008 booked separately but each sector had same flight number

CNS-TSV
TSV-MKY
MKY-ROK
ROK-BNE (via GLT)

I received 40 SCs and 4,000 QFF points.

And also another time I booked

NAA-MQZ
MQZ-SYD

These were the same flight number but listed separate on itinerary and again received SCs and QFF points for each sector.
