Did you know Qantas operates up to five weekly A330 services between Melbourne and Perth[SUP]#[/SUP] and up to six weekly A330 services between Sydney and Perth[SUP]+[/SUP] featuring a full inflight service experience and Skybed in Business?

Extracted the above from another post but I am intrigued as to which flights have the skybed service I have never manged to get one ???

I have never been on one either! I do get heaps of 767 but with no iPads so no testing inflight streaming so advertised.

This flight used to be QF776/777 and QF772/773 in the past.

I am not sure which flights the 330-300 still operate off the top of my head.

I can't recall the flight number, but recently was on the 17:45 flight from MEL to PER and they had skybeds. Didn't make much difference to me...I was in whY :(

QF581 ex SYD becomes 582 ex PER. I believe I read it had the 747s with Skybeds.

It looks like 772/773 is still operated by 333 in part.

I am aware that 776/777 has changed.
You are more likely to get an international 332 ex SYD than you are ex MEL.

You have to remember that PER-SIN and vv. are now popping up with 330-200's, so they have to come from somewhere.

I'm always happy to use points to upgrade to Skybeds coming back from Perth at end of week.

I have also found a few QF648 flights that are operated by 330-300's.

IMHO these are the ideal flights for this configuration in terms of passenger comfort upfront.

Going back to the iPad comment. There is only one 767 that is being used in the trial, so not great chances there.

QF642 PER/SYD was a 333 recently with a long haul crew who were great. If 23ABJK is an exit row then it's a 332 so domestic config/nil skybeds, VH-EBx etc.

If 23ABJK is just a bulkhead seat then it's the 333 VH-QPx etc however I found 23K very cramped as it feels like it's the area where the a/c gets narrow as you get closer to the pointy end.

My 'little' brother who's SG & about 6' 5" & 120 kgs had reserved 23K on a separate flighg but when I mentioned my thoughts he moved to 24G. He later said "I see what you mean about 23K".

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I just got off QF772 PER-MEL and it was a 333 with skybeds; the crew were returning it to PER as 773. I flew last week to PER on QF777 and it was a 332 with dom J. Ozbeachbabe has the config spot on.

Sent from my iThing.
Why, because iCan.

I gotta try 333 or 747 trans con if im going QF on my next leg(s) over! After one time on DJ I'm kinda hooked :)

I found (in Y) the 332 (VH-EBO) to be better than the 333 (VH-QPE) but if you are in J then the opposite would be true. The 333 Y was a bit dated, although it may just have been the particular a/c I was on.

I had row 23 in a 332 and it was Devine! Pretty much unlimited leg room! For J would definitely take 333/744 over the 332 as it looked pretty cramped when I boarded.

Yep, I was in 23 both ways, 332 beats 333 hands down as ozbeachbabe has already explained.

Next time I am west I will try to catch up vitagen - my newly minted "on arrival access" works a treat! :D

Sure sounds good, only need 2 hrs to see the whole of Perth :). Haha arrivals access... A little birdie told me it doesn't exist! Hope your WP status came thru quick! :)
