QF1/2/9/10 Commercial Policy - Retime Due Dubai Runway Works 01MAY14 to 21JUL14 24 January 2014


The following options are available to Qantas customers holding a valid ticket issued on/before
24 January 2014 who are impacted by misconnections as a result of QF1/2/9/10 retiming due to runway works at Dubai airport.
Flights affected by this will be all Qantas operated flights:


All Qantas operated departing Australia between 01 May 2014 and 19 July 2014
All northbound Qantas operated flights departing Dubai between 02 May 2014 and 20 July 2014.
All southbound Qantas operated flights departing London Heathrow between 02 May 2014 and 20July 2014.
All southbound Qantas operated flights departing Dubai between 03 May 2014 and 21 July 2014.


For customers holding a Qantas (081) issued ticket:

Passengers on misconnecting services may, without fee:
Reroute/Rebook travel
Reroute/Rebook travel to alternate Qantas services with "QF" flight number operated by Qantas
Reroute/Rebook travel to alternate Qantas codeshare services with "QF" flight number operated by Emirates, Jetstar and oneworld carriers British Airways, Air Berlin, Finnair and Iberia.
Reroute/Rebook travel to alternate same day "BA/AY/IB/AB" flight number operated by oneworld partners "BA/AY/IB/AB" between London Heathrow and regional United Kingdom/Ireland/Europe.
Reroute/Rebook travel to alternate Emirates services with "EK" flight number operated by Emirates when holding existing bookings with "EK" flight number operated by Emirates between Dubai and Europe, North Africa and Middle East as per original ticketed sector.


Conditions
All changes must be made prior to the original ticketed departure.
All tickets must be reissued including date changes that include "EK" or "QF" flight numbers operated by Emirates. Ticket revalidation will not be accepted.
New travel dates must be within ticket validity.
Rebooking on all Qantas services with ‘QF’ flight number operated Qantas and oneworld carriers British Airways Air Berlin, Finnair and Iberia, if the same booking class is not available, the lowest booking class within the same cabin may be booked (e.g. within Business or Economy cabin).
Rebooking on all Qantas codeshare services with "QF" flight number operated by Emirates and Jetstar is subject to available inventory in the booking class originally ticketed.
Rebooking on all Emirates services with "EK" flight number operated by Emirates is subject to available inventory in the booking class originally ticketed.
Qantas will not be responsible for paying any other costs or expenses such as hotel or other ground operator fees arising due to events beyond our control, unless required by applicable laws.
All other rules and conditions of the ticket remain unchanged.
Customers are permitted to make changes as outlined in this policy. Any subsequent changes made after the ticket is reissued will be subject to the rules and conditions of the original ticketed fare purchased.


For customers holding a ticket issued by another carrier (non-081):
Passengers on misconnecting services may, without fee:
Reroute/Rebook travel
Rebook travel to an alternate "QF" flight number operated by Qantas on the same day subject to availability in the same ticketed booking class.
