Had them cleaned out just recently, the volume of rain that came pelting down in 8 minutes was something we'd not experienced before.

One reason I get professional gutter cleaning done is, when we were kids, Mum would ring Dad at work to come home and climb up on the roof every time it rained.

Now, my motto is "I just pay people" and Mr Flyfrequently is quite happy with that!

Impressive downpour. Would love to be able to simply use a professional gutter cleaner but when last did it was $1000 (high roof), + plumbing bill as well as the "professional" hosed the leaves etc into the downpipes blocking the underground pipe.

Next door neighbours (who usually CMO) putting in a pool today.


They kindly let us know that our driveway would be blocked by the crane for hours, and would I care to move my car.
